The brilliant writing accompanied by Sean Murray’s epic and creepy music really makes you feel terrified based on what the CIA, the United States Government, and the Soviet Union were up to. Throughout the story line, you will experience betrayal, hate, loss, and will find yourself in a state of confusion. The campaign is lengthy and takes you in almost all the notable locations during the Cold War, such as the Soviet Union, Vietnam, Cuba, and other crazy remote locations. The setting takes you into the 1960s, where you play as Alex Mason. Black Opsīlack Ops 1 has an absolute insane singleplayer story. However, I do feel singleplayer should not be overlooked, and in many cases, a solid singleplayer can always be the deal breaker for a handful of other Call of Duty Players (like myself).
